Welcome to the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority media page. The media is an integral partner in the development of tourism worldwide and it’s no different here. In PNG, it is our desire to ensure we enhance that partnership for the greater benefit of our communities and ultimately our people.

It is therefore our duty to provide the media with all necessary information relating to the development of tourism in PNG. All information provided in the media pages are for use by all forms of media for the sole purpose of marketing and promoting PNG as a desired tourism destination.
Journeys
 
Journeys is Papua New Guinea’s very own quarterly travel and tourism magazine. Published jointly by the national tourism office and the Post Courier, its aspires to provide readers with an in-depth but leisurely read of each of Papua New Guinea’s most exciting tourism destinations.
Online Image Library
 
We boast of having one of the best, if not, the very best online image library in the South Pacific region including Australia and New Zealand. www.pngphotolibrary currently hosts 500 top quality high resolution images of Papua New Guinea that can be found no where else.

Our Online Image Library www.pngphotolibrary.com provides 500 top quality high resolution images for instant download and use by the tourism and travel media. Press releases of major upcoming events and activities will be made available on a timely basis as these events occur so media can use for news purposes.

A prepackaged set of promotion material of individuals, industry associations or the national tourism office is also available should the media require instant facts or information. Media and industry in general are also welcome to subscribe to our online e-newsletter Garamut for all the latest industry news.
