Welcome to the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority (PNGTPA) Corporate Website. This website provides information on the roles and activities of PNGTPA. Who we are and what we do
The Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority (PNGTPA) is a statutory body responsible for marketing Papua New Guinea (PNG) as a desirable tourist destination. It is made up of three (3) main divisions; Corporate Services, Policy and Planning, and Marketing and Research.

Why TPA Exists
Tourism is particularly important as a source of income for communities in rural areas. The sustainable development that tourism offers is viable for the economic future of the country. Therefore PNGTPA is responsible for ensuring that PNG maximizes on the economic benefits made by the industry while conserving our culture and our environment.
